BASIC KIT:

  • Pasta Machine and C-clamp (NO MOTORS IN CLASSES)
  • Portable work surface: Plexiglas, flexible cutting board or glass, 8” x 10” or a bit larger will work
  • Clay blades: flexible and rigid, (approx. 6” long cutting blade)
  • Piercing tools: knitting needles, bamboo skewers or poultry lacers
  • Wet/dry sand paper in assorted grits, 400, 600, 1,000
  • Texturing tools: Grit or green nylon scrubbing pad (ScotchBrite is a popular brand)
  • Mold releases: Corn starch or an auto vinyl protectant such as Armor All.
  • Pre-moistened wipes, Wet Ones
  • Waxed paper, index cards, or deli wrap
  • Paint brush: #4 or #6 round
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Note-taking materials: paper, pencil and/or pen
