No, that’s not a typo, we really do mean “WET”! Sign up before January 1st, 2027 to participate.

1. Our 2027 Artist Swap theme is “The Great Pacific North WET”. Start thinking of your ideas and making your swap items early!

2. This year’s Artist Swap will be different from what we’ve done in the past. All clayers who want to participate need to register by January 1st, 2027. The total number of participants will be announced the next day.

3. All artists need to make swaps for the total number of participants. Artists can make all swaps items the same or all different or any combination. You will not receive one of your own swaps back so make sure to make an extra for yourself! Bring your wonderful swaps to Clay Camp. Swaps made of polymer clay are strongly encouraged. They may be mixed media but must be handmade.

How It Works:
Bring your wonderful swaps to Clay Camp. All participants will receive a random number that corresponds to a station at the swap table and we stand at our number and lay out our swaps. We will go around and talk briefly about how we were inspired by ‘The Great Pacific North-WET’ and how we made our items. Then we will all move one station to the right and select one item from our neighbor’s swaps. When everyone has picked up their selection, we will all move together to the next station to the right and select an item, and so on until everyone has picked up an item from each station.

Yes, I want to register to participate in the Clay Camp 2027 Artist Swap. Sign me up!

If you cannot make it to camp and want to participate in the swap, communicate with Kim Day and get your swaps to her before Clay Camp.
